Reviewing

Reviewing a branch like a pull request

See exactly what a pull request would show, even when GitHub.com can't.

Review your branch’s commits since it left the base, exactly as a GitHub pull request shows them. It’s handy when a PR has more images than GitHub.com can comfortably show.

lusca . --base origin/develop

Or choose Branch changes from the picker in the toolbar.

How it works

  • Lusca compares against the merge base, so changes that landed on the base afterwards aren’t listed.
  • Uncommitted edits aren’t included. Use --working to review those.
  • Each repository remembers its base. Without one, Lusca uses base from the settings file, then the repository’s default branch.
  • The picker suggests likely bases first, and accepts any branch, tag or commit.

Keeping it up to date

  • Lusca fetches in the background. The circling arrows in the title bar fetch straight away.
  • The sidebar counts base-side images missing from your LFS store. Fetch downloads them with git lfs fetch, without touching your checkout.
